Dr. Janice Wang graduated in 1995 from the University of the Pacific Dental School. Once exposed to the benefits of implant dentistry, she became eager to focus her career in this area. She is board-certified with the American Board of Oral Implantology. With over 5,000 placements and hundreds of grafting cases, her experience is comprehensive. Additionally, by taking over a practice that was implant-referral focused, she has been able to trouble-shoot various old and new implant systems. She is experienced with all types of grafting such as socket, ridge augmentation, sinus (crestal and lateral approach), difficult cases with narrow or short bone, prosthetics as well as corrective measures for non-ideal placements. From leading an implant study club to guiding beginner dental clinicians, she has also been teaching and mentoring for major implant companies since 2009. She also remains an expert witness for implant defense cases. She is an active member of CCDS, CDA, ADA, AAID (Associate Fellow, pursuing Fellow), and ABOI (Diplomate).
